“I have always been fascinated with the diverse forms and characteristics of nature. The visible tracks and traces of time, decay, growth and constant thrive of continuation and reinventing is obvious in nature, but also applicable to our species; the humans. I collect, gather, photograph and sketch in the woods or on the beach, and aim to reproduce this perspective in to my art work. I use materials that give structure and depth, deform and add lines to shift focus. The intention of my art is to inspire the spectator to lift the gaze from the obvious and given, and to remind ourselves of our origin.”
